Every day is a day to be hugged, but today still more than 364 other days of the year because it is Hug Your Cat Day. To return this day more particular than the others, why not to review the following list with your bean and to improve what can be improved ?
- Do your beans make you examine at least once a year by a veterinarian even if there is nothing particular ? Are they up to date with your vaccines ?
- If you are an indoor cat, is your environment rather stimulating ? Have you hiding places, lookouts in height, places where to climb, something to scratch with your claws, toys, and a bean who often plays enough with you ?
- Is a kit of first aids in case of feline booboo ready and at hand ?
- In case of emergency, is the PTU quickly available ?
Our friends in shelters have less chance than us, but they need the same : if your bean has time to dedicate to them, it will make them happy, if he has money to give, it will help other persons to take charge of them, and if he knows somebody of the good who would like a cat, he can advise him to adopt one.
Finally, our big wild cousins are often victims of the human stupidity : your bean cannot maybe give them a cuddle, but can help them by supporting various associations which dedicate themselves to their conservation and to their prosperity.
Let’s not forget the most impawtant : did you have several cuddles today ?

and hugs for all..and we do what we can for the wild kitties too….all animals need loves and hugs….even us humans sometimes happy hugs day guys

Sweet, Zorro! Give Pixie some hugs from us too, we wish we could do it in purson! And that is some very good advice. We don’t have a feline emergency kit and really should get the mom to put one together pronto.
