Nothing pleases us more than to know that somebody is reading our articles. It’s a little bit the purpose of a blog, right ? “Silent” reader or reader-commentator, we appreciate your interest for us a lot.
For those who follow our blog by e-mail, a notification is sent to you at the time of the publication of the article, or rather, a notification SHOULD be sent to you… Indeed, since a few weeks, several of you let us know that they were not any more informed about the publication of our articles. Horror ! What a pity !
Thanks to Phiphi, Frimousse, Cody, Katie and Waffles, and those who we certainly forget, to have indicated us this dysfunction : we looked, verified, asked, and still looked to find the cause of this bug. And we found : it would seem that e-mails sent by WordPress via the module Jetpack are often blocked by antispam filters of various e-mail providers: either you don’t even see them, or they land directly in your Spam file.
We are thus going to try MailChimp for this service ; we hope that everything will be back to normal again. If everything goes well, you should not need to subscribe again to our blog, then cross your paws so that it works !
We do enjoy reading your blog

We love reading your blog – did you know though that we receive notification of your posting a new blog via our inbox in four languages?
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Yes, for the moment it’s normal : one blogpost is in reality four blogposts for WordPress because of the translations. WordPress sends one mail for each post, that’s the reason why you receive four mails. We’re trying to fix it with MailChimp too
! Purrs
I hope MailChimp works much better for you! I use Feedburner for my emails, but have a MailChimp account as a backup in case Feedburner ever goes away.

We’re glad you solved it so that everyone knows when you have a new post!
We’re going to check out Mail Chimp too. We hear it has some cool features.
Thank you so much for this message. We enjoy your blog andHAVE had trouble getting emails from your blog and one other. Good to have that explained & maybe fixed. As fellow calicos, we do not want to miss a word of what you have to say! Have a great day.
I think I need to do that too because that happened to me too. Thanks for letting us know how you fixed it.
We hope the new service works better for you!
Thank you for this posting! I’ve also heard that the email notification don’t work. It’s strange though, because I’ve subscribed to my blog, and I always get an email. Hm. I’ll have a closer look
We’ve had the same problem and switched to Chimpmail. For most of my blogger friends, I just return comments and go to the cat Blogoshere.
We also enjoy your blog and try as much as possible to comment but sometimes we have lots of blogs and find we’re pulling out our fur trying to get to everyone.
(((Shoko)))
Oh, you too ? MOL ! Purrs
The problem with “silent” readers is that they are but a ‘plus one” in the blog’s statistics, according to my Master…
I use MailChimp and love it! It’s a bit confusing at first, as they don’t make it super easy to navigate at times. Good luck kitties
I hope Mailchimp works better for you. I follow your posts with Feedly.
Excellent! We were so excited to see you stop by our bloggie. Keeping our paws crossed to see your posts again.
Happy Thursday, furriends.
XOXO
We can’t wait to hear how this works.
Luv ya’
Dezi and Lexi
We have our paws crossed that all falls into place now and the problem is solved!

We love MailChimp – we use it too! (Except it squishes our header and we can’t – and MailChimp can’t! – figure out how to fix it, either!
SPAM – sure is a nasty, four letter word! Glad you are figuring out ways to fix your problem!
We love MailChimp!
: )
We enjoy reading your blog too… we’re just a little slow in getting her sometimes ’cause life is always so darn busy!
