Claire was 16 years old when she went during the last century for holidays in the United States. She keeps of it a wonderful memory.
More than half our blogger friends are American.
Claire is a little bit gloomy these days, because she has just realized that the plane is very expensive, and that she won’t be able to attend the BlogPaws conference to meet our friends before a few years… Indeed, other unavoidable spending is already planned for the next two years… Impossible to spend in more the equivalent of a month of salary on her alone for only four days : seriously, do you know how much treats you can buy with such a sum ?!?
However, Claire will go once to the United States with Momo (who never went there), it’s sure ! You must go there at least once in your life, it’s a country where there are so many things to be seen ! And we can already tell you that the route of these holidays will follow the way of friendships knotted with you over the years.
Happy Independence Day, buddies of America !
Pee-Esse : in the meantime, she could visit our friends in France and in Germany, what do you think about it ?
As Europe is closer, visiting friends there makes sense.
We think that your folks would enjoy it.
You kitties will probably stay in a kitty hotel at home as traveling is not so much fun
Purrs Georgia and Julie,
Treasure and JJ
We think whomever or wherever you get to visit, you will have fun!
Thank you for the Independence day wishes! Hope you have a wonderful day!
Oh we’re happy you want to visit the USA……again! Everybody should do it at least once we think – my Mom and Dad have visited Europe several times as there’s SO MUCH to see and do too. Thanks for the 4th of July wishes – we hope for a QUIET one!
Love, Sammy
Thank U, you’re the sweetest to honor our holiday!
Thanks for the holiday wishes. We don’t even know if we can go to BlogPaws and it is in our State next year. There are so many of us on medicine twice a day and we can’t miss our meds.
Thank you so very much for the 4th of July well wishes! We purr and pray that you get to visit us over here again soon!
When she does make it to the US, I definitely want to meet her. That price is outrageous, a month’s salary for a plane ticket-yikes.
Plane AND hotel, but it’s outrageous anyway ! Claire and Momo have talked and decided that a trip to the USA would be their new project. It’s going to take 3, 4 or 5 years, but no matter. Cool, uh ? Purrs
I hope your peeps get to come here one day. Everything is so expensive even without air fare to go to Blogpaws.
Thank you so much! We are homesick today, of course.

((hugs)).. Purrs
Hugs and purrs. A whole month of salary for a few days is amazing. Mum even looks at the price here and thinks, while it would be nice. green papers are needed for more important things. Like treats!
If the humans do make a trip to the US, mum hopes she can meet up with them.
We hope so ! Purrs
I’m all for visiting friends everywhere! Definitely visit French and German pals! It’s expensive to travel to another continent
First, it was so sweet of you to wish us a Happy Independence Day! Second, if you come to the U.S. I noticed that you marked Michigan and I am hoping we are on your list to visit!!! I would LOVE IT!!!!! Also with BlogPaws, maybe you could win your trip! You never know!!! xoxoxo I do like your idea of visiting your other European friends too!
Claire and Momo have talked and decided that a trip in the US would be their new project. It’s going to take 3, 4 or 5 years, but no matter. Cool, uh ? We hope everyone will have a guest room ! Purrs
We see you have Florida on your map! YAY!!!! We hope your trip to the US comes sooner than you

I would visit your European friends since they are close by. Especially these day switch the dangers of terrorism everywhere – long trips are not what we will be doing either. Some day you will be able to visit the US and we hope to meet you then.

the mama always makes a sad face when she ponders about a trip to US… it’s to eggs-pensive and the airlines are not really dog friendly…
but I like the idea of your mama to visit the friends in france and germany… and in uk, that’s a good plan too…
We’re so bummed that Claire can’t make BlogPaws. We hope when she does come to the USA she comes to New York!
We are glad that all that banging and booming for the fourth of July is over now, but thank you for thinking of all of us over here.
We hope you will get to come and visit sometime!
Have a super Wednesday…
Noodle and crew
Thank you! It’s pretty noisy here so you aren’t missing much even my kitty brofur Rhette doesn’t like the noise. And the Euro exchange rate is in your favor so always something to think about! Love Dolly
We count in Swiss Francs in Switzerland, not in Euro, but it’s still awfully expensive, even with a favorable exchange rate ;). Purrs
I live in America and couldn’t afford to go to BlogPaws.
I would imagine that it would buy A LOT of treats, for sure. And nip, too! Mustn’t ever forget ’bout the nip.
Purrs,
