The garden is illuminated, and inside, our little tree is finally decorated.
This weekend, it smelled good all over the house : Claire made a first series of delicious cookies that are going to be offered on Monday.
Of course we supervised the operations !
Looks like you’re almost ready for Christmas. Did you get some butter on your paw while supervising Claire baking? Butter is yummy.
Baking cookies is something I never got into as a man, but it is probably a good thing as I would eat them all! Yours look very tasty! Not appealing to the cats at all, I think!

Pixie, did you put your paw in the mixing bowl? This is mostly unrelated, but growing up, every time my brother or I replied to my Mom asking if we’d done something, we’d say, “Well, I’m going to …” and she would reply that Christmas is coming too. It’s funny that a simple phrase like that can elicit all kinds of memories.

Those white things are tipical biscuits from Switzerland (German speaking part), Germany and Austria. You call it “Springerle”, or “pain d’anis” in French. More about it here : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Springerle

You did better decorating than we did. On the other paw, we have a plate of boiled chicken thighs thawing out and a pouch of treats and Dad says we can have as much chicken Chrissymouse Day as we want!
