It’s lights time… Like every year, Claire made our Advent wreath, and tonight we’ll light the first candle.
We have our own Advent calendar full of treats, which should keep us waiting until Christmas.
Claire and Momo are going to take advantage of today’s gloomy weather to put on the Christmas decorations : have you already decorated at home ?

Enjoy celebrating Advent – we will probably be putting our Christmas decorations up today and tomorrow around here. There are some houses in our neighborhood who have theirs up already – we don’t want to be LAST!

Yes we have a few decorations up. That is nice to have your own calendar as well. It is very nice.
Claire created a beautiful wreath. I like how she used the small ceramic cups and pine cones to hold the candles.
Dad put the holiday lights on the house last week. We may put up decorations inside the house tomorrow. We need a break in the rain so we can go out to the storage shed and bring in the holiday decoration bins.

I love your Advent Wreath. We didn’t put one up this year because Rabbit is a table-hopper and his plumey tail would probably ignite and send us fleeing to the ER. We also didn’t get a kitty Advent Calendar. Note to Mom: do this next year. Meowy Christmas!
