After going directly from summer to winter, we finally arrived in autumn, with a weather more or less consistent with the season.
We have two cat trees in the living room, in diametrically opposite angles: one towards the entrance, and one in the corner between the two windows, not far from the radiator.
At the season change, I changed my habits: I left the tree near the entrance of the living room, and went back to the other that I had not occupied since March.
Zorro, on the other hand, sleeps more indoors: we can say that he has also changed his habits.
What about your cat ? Does he also change the resting place according to the season ?
even we do it… now our place is close to da fireplace, even when it is not activated by now ;O)
I like when the furnace is turned on. All that nice warm air!
The floor vents are nice as the warm air can blow warm air into your furs when you lay on or near them

Change of seasons doesn’t really effect my napping habits. We keep the house at the same temp year round so any place I want to nap is available to me whenever I want it AND it’s comfortable all the time!

Our season is still in the midst of change … some days warm, some cool … so we shall wait and see what the change brings. Will be interesting!
Oh yeah. I go and sleep more with mum cuz it is warmer to snuggle with her. Then the heaty monster is blowing hot air under my hammick, so I lay on that more now too. I go where I am most comfortable.
In the winter the boys used to take over the fire and the recliners. In the summer they spent most of their time outdoors.
We do too, we follow the sunpuddles and find the warm spots!
Da Boyz haven’t used the futon for a napping locale in months; now, it’s where we usually find them!

In the summer we move to the cooler spots, and in the Winter to the warmer spots.
Yep. I have gone back to my Hammick next to the vent and Miss Fitz has joined me in the covered bed in the same spot. Toby is now on the desk and Rumpy and Einie are, well, they are all over as always
I love to find the coziest nests available…more than the rather open ones I rest on in warmer days. And of course any that are near the heater vents are SO warm…even warmer than the sunpuddles we get in the cold seasons.
my guys don’t really change their sleeping habits but they all get a lot more hyper and want to play more once fall comes along!
They are both such cuties. Yes, mine do change spots to be closer to the a/c and heat depending on the season. XO
Pixie, your furs look so soft and beautiful. It’s nice that you and Zorro can change your views for different seasons. And i like how that perch mounts to the wall and doesn’t take up space on the floor.
When the weather turns colder, Gracie and Ava sleep more on the big bed with us.
Of course! The angle of the sun changes, and the heater comes on in the winter.
Yes, our cats seem to migrate with the seasons, we’re just hoping Fall weather would finally arrive in Texas!
We rotate around the house most weeks, sometimes we love to be in the catservatory, then we’ll prefer to be in the upstairs lounge, then the bedroom, then the sitting room, it’s fun to move about! MOL XOX

Our cats snuggle more during the cooler months. During summer, I never see them snuggled up anymore. So, I’m looking forward to cooler weather just for that reason!
We moved recently and until we did I slept on the bed with mom and dad almost every night. Now they got dad this new chair and you can’t keep me out of it. I haven’t slept on the bed with them once yet in the couple weeks since we moved here. Dad wanted me to add that I also walk around and cry loud at night now, keeping them from sleeping restfully. I think I’m just trying to adjust to my new surroundings.
Seasons don’t make too much difference to us. What sun there is comes in the same windows and our furniture seldom moves.
We are in a new house t his coming winter, but my favorite place is the window in my Momma’s office overlooking the front yard. It has little lizards in the bushes, and the sunshine is warm and cozy. My sister Peaches loves lying on the back of the couch overlooking the backyard. It’s very sunny and warm there too. Despite it being hot and sunny here all the time, we still enjoy lying in sunpuddles. Love, Dori
Bear DEFINITELY sleeps around according to the season. Ellie? No. I think Bear enjoys doing so just because it confuses me so much because I can’t quite figure out the benefit of one sleeping spot vs. the other from season to season.
For us matters where is the sunlight. Always trying to catch light all day long till the sun goes down.
